Erica Jones and Ian Crawford were recognized for their roles in securing grants for GR schools, Ron Pannicucci and Donna Nihen reminded everyone about the upcoming Relay For Life Event, May 14. Assistant Fire Chief, Art Zanotti was recognized for his actions concerning a lightning strike at his neighbors residence. The water restriction ordinance was sent back to the council for further review. The AR-1 ordinance was also discussed.
After the Interfaith worship service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, the congregants proceeded to Van Neste Square Park for the public rally portion of the celebration. Following some brief comments by Mayor Aronsohn of Ridgewood and Mayor Packer of Glen Rock, the crowd marched through the streets of Ridgewood.
34 Years of Honoring Dr. King. The theme of this year's celebration was "We Shall Not Be Silent". The communities of Ridgewood and Glen Rock come together once again to pay tribute to the life of Dr. Martin Luther King. Featured speaker was The Rev. Joseph W. Winter Wonderland 2015
GRTV gathered the members of the storm management team that handled the disaster 3 years ago to discuss what they went through before, during and after the storm. The participants included Chief of Police, Fred Stahman, Fire Chief, Tom Jennings, Ambulance Chief, Ed Esposito, Head of OEM, Joanne Perry, and Mayor John van Keuren. The panel was moderated by Communications Director, Mary Jane Surrago.

The Thielke Arboretum, Sally Clark and friends held a Butterfly Garden dedication ceremony in honor of the late William "Bill" Clark. The garden is located on the west side of the Arboretum by Diamond Brook. Bill Clark was known as the "Voice of Glen Rock". He announced both junior football and Glen Rock High School games as well as being the announcer for the 4th of July parades for many years. Filmed and edited for GRTV by Rick Van Rumpt.
